Fibrocaps™

The lead product from ProFibrix, Fibrocaps (proposed name), is currently being studied for treatment of bleeding during surgery and after trauma injury. A Phase II clinical trial was concluded on March 12, 2010 in the Netherlands that demonstrated efficacy and safety profiles, as well as performance of the delivery device for mild and moderate bleeding during liver surgery. A large Phase II trial is currently underway in the U.S. and the Netherlands with final results expected in 2011.
